Informatics Lead Inducted as ACMI Fellow

CAPriCORN Informatics Lead Anthony (Tony) Solomonides, PhD, MSc(Math), MSc(AI), FAMIA, FACMI, of Endeavor Health (previously NorthShore), has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI).  As part of the prestigious award, Dr. Solomonides joins the college of elected fellows who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of biomedical informatics.

According to AMIA, Dr. Solomonides has made major contributions to Informatics via his scientific leadership. He has mentored over 30 informaticians and clinicians in research research and ethics, evidenced by extensive contributions. In particular, he has made major contributions to AMIA policy development and to the governance of research data and AI.
