Patient Community Advisory Committee Awarded PCORI Grant
The CAPriCORN Patient Community Advisory Committee (PCAC) and the Health & Medicine Policy Research Group were awarded a Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award for Conference Support. The award supports the implementation of the “Elevating the Patient Voice in Research” project that will increase inpatient participation in research and identify priorities for health research.
The team is collaborating with Chicago organizations to involve community members across the city. Ideas that emerge from the meetings will culminate in a one-day conference where community findings and research priorities will be shared. The group will share results with a broader audience outside the conference as well.
The “Elevating the Patient Voice in Research” project was funded through a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (EAIN-00062).
