Levi Moore
PCAC Member Foxglove Alliance Coordinator, Hektoen Institute of Medicine
Levi Moore is an Illinois public policy subject matter and not-for-profit management expert. He works for the Hektoen Institute of Medical Research, where his responsibilities include managing public affairs, developing strategic alliances, and coordinating the activities and growth of the Foxglove Alliance, a burgeoning coalition of Chicago-area healthcare institutions. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV) and is a member of the West Side United Community Advisory Council and the Illinois Association of Free & Charitable Clinics’ Advocacy & Policy Committee.
Prior to joining Hektoen, Moore was the Executive Director of the National Veterans Art Museum, President of the Six Corners Business Association, and a City of Chicago Special Service Area Commissioner. Earlier in his career, Moore was the primary City of Chicago and federal lobbyist for the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce. He also served as the second-in-command of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Community Affairs as a cabinet member under then Governor Jim Edgar. He is an East St. Louis, IL native and a graduate of Northwestern University with a B.S. in Journalism and graduate level work in political science.
