Shabina Khan advocates for patients in a variety of capacities, including as a member of the PCAC for 5+ years. Currently, she is also a member of CHAIRb, CAPriCORN’s Institutional Review Board. Ms. Khan is an Ambassador Member with Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and contributes expertise as a member of the University of Chicago Institute for Translational Medicine (ITM) Community Advisory Review Council (CARC). Previously, Ms. Khan worked at Abbott Laboratories as a Research and Development Medical Device Specialist. A patient and caregiver herself, she lives in Lake County and is married with three children.
